Learn about natural history and original settlers. Short or long, all rides are geared to the experience of the riders. Driving lessons are included. You can choose from one hour to all day, or even one night or multi-night rides. Seasonal Rides Berry Picking: pick the berries and bake the pie in an old fashioned Dutch Oven back at the corral. BBQ Lunches: Special day ride that includes cooking lunch on the trail. Overnight Trail Rides One Night Majerus Farm Ride past Jack Damon's Trapper Cabin along the old route to historic Majerus Farm. Camp near the Murtle River with a view of Pyramid Mountain, an ancient volcanic mountain. Enjoy a hearty campfire feast before you bed down for the night. If conditions permit you will explore the original Majerus Homestead and an old growth forest on the way back to the lodge. You can learn how to identify the many trees and wildflowers, why grizzly bears dig for glacier lily bulbs in the Trophy Meadows, where and when to view wildlife (safely and responsibly), or how to better your canoe stroke. All Day Canoe Adventure Canoe Clearwater Lake in the heart of Wells Gray Provincial Park, elevation 680 meters. Anticipate Mt Huntly and Garnet Peak exploding into view around Divers Bluff. Travel back in time through the old-growth forests of the West Lake Loop, as we pass by the watery wonder of Bailey's Chute. Canoe on Clearwater Lake for the morning, and spend the rest of the day hiking in the Park.
